We previously wrote here on Consumer Electronic Magazine about the biggest TV in the world which is the 152 Inch Panasonic Flat Screen Plasma HDTV. Compared to that world’s biggest TV this post featuring the Panasonic 85 inch television set may seem small. But that’s before you consider that this TV we are talking about can fit in four of the average 42 inch TV sets that sits in most American homes.

In fact Panasonic the 85 inch TV is large enough to almost display a life size image of human being! You can judge the size of the 85″ TV below when you find images of a Japanese salesgirl who stands next to a Panasonic 85 inch TV.

However the price of the Panasonic 85 inch TV is way above the TV budget of the average citizen. Panasonic Corporation’s listed price for the 85″ television set is a small fortune of US $30,000. But if you are really serious you can order it for a 33% discount or at around US $20,000 at Amazon website now. But TV still has it uses and in some businesses it can be wise investment. “I am researching this TV for a client that may need a display this size for an exhibit, they have a need and are willing to pay for it. It is unhelpful to have ignorant reviews from people who do not have an educated viewpoint. I have seen this TV in person, from a demonstration, and can attest that it is quite stunning. If you factor in the price of a projector system you would need to replicate a picture that size that can keep its fidelity in broad daylight and can be used in limited space, the price is not so ludicrous.” – Cameron Berry

So it can really sometimes be a good alternative to large Projector Screen Systems with its high definition video presentation levels. But then strangely a slightly smaller TV than this is available from another Japanese consumer electronics brand, Mitsubishi TVs. The Mitsubishi 82 inch TV is only 3 inches smaller at 82 inches and has a list price of $4,199!
